Bachelorette Ideas Should Center Around Personality

When you think about planning the perfect bachelorette party, first and foremost think of your bachelorette.
While certainly you want to do an outstanding job, it's not you that needs the spotlight, rather the bachelorette, the woman of the evening.
After all, this will be the prelude to the most important day of her life, so take this opportunity to create a memorable bachelorette party, one that will live in her memory for years to come.
There are a multitude of bachelorette ideas and whether you choose something extreme or more traditional will depend on you, your budget, and most particularly, your good friend the bachelorette.
Over the years when someone thought of a bachelorette party, they'd imagine X-rated bars, limo rides, and girls having a wild time, however that need not be the case.
Essentially what you're doing is honoring your friend, not just giving her a last night single, but showing that you care, that you wish her well now and into the future.
The bachelorette ideas range the gamut, from having a night at the spa, dining at a great restaurant, going camping, invading a theme park, buying male blowup dolls, hiring a role-playing male stripper, enjoying a night at the casino, dressing up as Southern belles and parading down Main Street.
There is really no limit to what you can do for a great bachelorette party, and the bachelorette ideas are almost too numerous to mention, but since I'm a writer, I've got to least try.
I won't be discussing how to have a good time at a male strip club, you're on your own for that, but if you'd like to do something just a little bit different, how about a bachelorette roast? If you're the maid of honor you've probably known the bachelorette for years, possibly since childhood; and you probably participated in many enjoyable (or funny) memories, this is your opportunity to open that time capsule and spread the love.
Most of us have seen celebrity roasts on television, and while many are extremely off-color, such need not be the case.
You and close friends can simply have a great time sharing memories, (some funny, some embarrassing) showing videos, doing karaoke and more.
Each person should be given time to tell their story; share their memories and see if they can make her laugh (or maybe blush).
This will not only make her special, it's a unique and great bachelorette idea.
Because not all us girls are Martha Stewart types, what sets your bachelorette apart, is she into extreme sports? If so, arrange an activity that includes her sport, letting her be the star, yet allowing everyone to participate.
My best friend loved helicopters, so we girls secretly arranged for a helicopter to land at a nearby park where we were picnicking.
It was a complete surprise as the helicopter landed while announcing my friend's name over the speaker system.
Of course, we'd come prepared with video cameras and words of encouragement as she climbed into the copter to circle the park.
She and I have relived that afternoon many times, it was a unique bachelorette idea, and just proves that sometimes you need to think outside the bachelorette box.
BACHELORETTE IDEAS Does she like a gambling, but how about arranging a casino night, you can title it "Gambling on Love".
How about a Gypsy Palm Reader dressed for the part, ready to read the future about her coming nuptials.
Consider a day at the spa, who among us doesn't like to be pampered, complete with manicure, pedicure and deep tissue massage.
While I can't take credit for this next idea, it's a terrific bachelorette idea, create a time capsule, only to be opened in times of emergency, or five years from her wedding day, whichever comes first.
Fill, the bachelorette's time capsule with personal items, DVDs, photographs (of old boyfriends?), and anything personal to her, something that will bring a smile to her face when opened years from now.
The single best bachelorette idea I can give you is this; make it unique and memorable and remember that she may return the favor one day.
