How to Create a Stronger Feel With Your Poetry-Creative Writing

Ever wanted to write something so powerful, or so captivating, whether it be a form of poetry, or a creative writing sample, or anything that would really just take your reader's mind and twist it to make them absolutely love it, or have it be worth quoting? Well that's what power words are for, power words can literally take a bland sentence or phrase, and transform it into something so delectable, so intriguing, so strong, that even you will be surprised that it came from you.
If you're a bit unsure of what I may mean, here's an example.
Here's a bland phrase, which means pretty much nothing: You're only as deep as you make yourself.
Ok, that's nice, nothing we haven't heard before.
Now let's read the same sentence, transformed with power words: You're only as deep as the universe inside of you.
See the difference? It's the same sentence as before, only this time with more meaning, more possibility, more reason.
Here are some good examples of words that are power words, and words that really aren't.
Non power words: Diamond, sparkle, confused.
Power words: Gem, or Jewel.
Gleam, frazzled.
You should see a big difference, a power word doesn't necessarily mean a big word, just a word with more explanation to it, more "Power".
Instead of using normal everyday words, replace them with powerful, meaningful words.
Try writing your own sentences using regular words, then practice by writing the same sentence, but using some power words that you can come up with.
Pick up an extra Dictionary, or Thesaurus, to practice the use of power words for everyday use.
Almost all of the most famous philosophers, writers, poets, and music artists use power words to complete their arsenal of creative writings, give it a shot for yourself.
