How to Add a Picture to a Birthday Invitation

    Add Photo to an Invitation Created Using Microsoft Word

    • 1). Open a new blank document on Microsoft Word.

    • 2). Type the text of your birthday party invitation, adjusting font, type size and color until you create the look you want.

    • 3). Click "Insert" on the Microsoft Word toolbar. Scroll down and select "Picture," then choose "From File." This will take you to the photos stored on your computer.

    • 5). Add text and music to your invitation. Click "Preview" to review your invitation before sending it to guests.

    • 6). Email your invitation, post it on Facebook, a blog or a website, or save it to your computer and print it at home.
