Ten Chick Flicks You Can Survive

Though this might surprise most men who have always left their destiny to fate on a movie weekend, there are some films that they might actually enjoy.
Here are ten movies for every guy out there who wants a life saver: 1.
"Something's Gotta Give": the story of a mother who finds out her daughter is dating a man her age and then finds herself dating a man her own daughter could date.
There are two topics there a man will find appealing: dating younger women or dating older women.
And yes, this is still a chick flick.
2.
"You've Got Mail": this story is about a romance that starts on the internet.
There is humor to it and a plot that goes beyond the love story on it.
3.
"Notting Hill": a Cinderella story for men, getting to casually meet a famous actress and getting to marry her.
Lots of humor in this movie as well.
4.
"Four Weddings and a Funeral": the black humor on this movie will make you enjoy it, plus the perspective on marriage is realistic, how if it is seen as just the next step it might make you miserable.
5.
"Fifty First Dates": a love story with lots of good humor, Adam Sandler is normally a safe bet on chick flicks.
6.
"The Wedding Singer": same as above, good humor mixed with a great soundtrack.
7.
"My Best Friend's Wedding": lots of funny situations plus two of Hollywood hotties: Cameron Diaz and Julia Roberts.
8.
"Little Miss Sunshine": I bet not in a million years did you ever think you would enjoy a movie with that title but the humor in it is worth the ticket.
9.
"First Wife's Club": besides the funny moments you will pick up some good things on your not to do list.
Hell knows no fury like a woman scorned.
10.
"The Holiday": the story of two women with failed relationships but it mixes three characters that will be appealing to you, the womanizer that finally finds his match, the good guy who gets the girl and the older man who gets recognition at the end of this life.
All stories that you can relate to, a hint of a happy ending, for the time being.
Next time you are out renting movies do not become a victim of "Beaches".
Make any of these suggestions, you will score some points and find yourself surprisingly enough enjoying a chick flick.
