Tips For Your Red Carpet Debut

Maybe you've been in show business a long time.
Or perhaps you're brand new to the scene with all the hope and anticipation of success coursing through your veins.
Regardless of the stage you're at in your entertainment careers, you'll want to be ready for the carpet, just in case.
Sure, it seems grandiose now, but if you ever make it to superstardom you'll be glad you took the time to read this article.
Further, why would you even get into entertainment if you don't dare to dream every now and then? There are some issues you will want to consider.
To start off with, how do you get there, and what do you wear? To really make a splash, you could parachute in.
However, you'd do better to come in a cool car since that's bound to get you noticed in a better way than landing on the heads of your loyal fans.
You can buy a car if you have the cash but if not, you might be connected enough with your new-found fame to borrow one from someone.
The best cars to bring depend on who you are.
Are you the new Vin Diesel? Then you want something muscle-laden that moves like lightning and sounds like the apocalypse.
Perhaps you are a little more suave like Cloony.
Well, you'll be wanting something more classic, like a Jaguar E-Type.
It should be expensive and at least 30 years old.
If you're, on the other hand, more an Anne Hathaway, the masses will be too busy fawning over your dress to talk much about your choice of car, and you had best turn up in something hybrid so you maintain an aura of niceness.
As well as awesome photos of you, there will be plenty of opportunity for amateurs to practice their photography techniques on your wheels! Now for the outfits.
Bear in mind that most people watching you will be doing so from home.
The vast majority of viewers will be watch from their lounge or from in front of their desks.
So it is important to pick something that will look good in the photos.
Stripes should be avoided as they do not do well on video cameras.
Horizontal stripes, are infamous for making you look wider in all the places you'd really rather not and bright pastels can make your complexion look strange.
To keep things simple, fellas should wear a nice dark tux.
As for the ladies, try to keep things somewhat conservative, and black is always the safest bet with some carefully chosen accessories.
You'd really rather not see the things catty fashion mags will write if you give them a little ammo.
Between one and three days before you should have a facial, manicure, pedicure and spray tan if you're a female.
Guys - don't think you shouldn't try those, too as it is the 21st century! Don't just think about how you arrive, though - you also need to get back from the venue (or go to the after-party) and that might require a driver.
Or perhaps you can chat up a fellow celebrity and go back to his/her accommodations and indulge in some post-awards 'celebration' Finally, be sure to check the traffic so that you aren't late for your red carpet date.
So now when you're a big star you'll be ready to step onto the red carpet.
Arrive in something appropriate, dress stylishly and you're name will be in lights for a good long time.
One last thing, remember to have a good breakfast.
It's the most important meal of the day.
Then when you're holding that Oscar aloft, you won't feel faint or lacking in energy.
