Your life is you because your life is all about you.
It is a fact that no one can live your life for you.
When you were a child choices were made for you.
Food was prepared for you, bedtime was determined for you, doctor appointments were made for you.
You really did'nt have to worry about too much.
Now that you are an adult, it is up to you to make important choices that could either make your life great or make your life a whirlwind of stress.
Life is full of choices.
Sometimes we make the right choices and sometimes we make the wrong choices.
Whether we make a right or wrong choice, there is no denying that those choices have made our lives what they are today.
Let's face it, there are times when things happen that are beyond our control and we are almost forced to make a choice immediately.
Although we can not control the happenings of life, we need to learn to adjust, do what you can, and keep moving on.
Some adjustments (loss of a loved one) can take a great deal of time.
What do you do when you have made a choice that turned your life upside down? Did you give up or went into hiding? Did you make every excuse to make yourself feel better? Whatever you did after making what you thought was a bad choice, more choices had to made after that! The best thing you can do for yourself is not only coming to the realization that you made a mistake, but to also admit it.
Not admitting when you have possibly made a wrong choice can keep you from making the best choice to fix the situation.
How do you turn not so good choices into better outcomes? Sitting down and looking at the situation from all angles is the best possible way to make things better.
Try not to focus so much on what you can't do, but instead try to focus even more on what you can do.
Consider all possibilities even if it means having to apologize to anyone that you may have hurt as a result of the choices you made.
You would be surprised at how people would be willing to help you if you would just be honest with them.
Last but not least, be very patient.
We now live in a era where everything has to be quick and convenient or it is considered a waste of time.
Patience is worth a try because it will help you in the long run.
If you practice patience it will keep you from making costly mistakes.
Have you ever felt one way about something only to feel differently about it the next day? Some like to refer to that as "sleep on it".
Patience is hard to practice once things have begun to stress you out.
Practice makes perfect! If practice makes perfect, then I am sure patience can do the same thing for your life, because your life is you!
