It's important to realize that dust mites flourish in the indoor setting.
You may be wondering how the dust mites actually cause the allergies.
Well, it is not the actual dust mites that cause the problem.
In fact, it is the excreted waste product from the dust mites that causes the health related concerns.
The waste product is called guanine.
The tiny creatures excrete the product from droppings and saliva.
As a result, human skin contact and inhalation of this waste, causes unwanted multiple symptoms.
The waste product causes mild to severe symptoms such as a rash formation or dermatitis to asthma related symptoms.
Asthma affects many of our young children around the world today.
Another key point to mention is that house mites not only affects children, but it also affects the elderly and the immunosuppressive individuals in an unhealthy way.
Did you know that when you fluff a pillow, make your bed, or reposition yourself at night that thousands of tiny critters become airborne? So when you have a stuffy nose, watery eyes, or sneezes, it may not be just a common cold.
Finally, it is important to understand how to reduce the rapid reproductive rate of dust mites.
Did you know that dust mites do not like light? Did you know that dust mites can't survive in very hot or very cold temperatures? The tiny critters will attempt to hide until nightfall.
Indeed, nightfall is when the mites like to wreak havoc on your skin and respiratory tract.
The tiny critters thrive on temperatures from 68 to 77 degrees.
As I mentioned before, the house mites can't survive in temperatures over 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
Likewise, they can't even survive in freezing temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
In summary, dust mites will continue to feed on our home environment.
You can't just rid the tiny bugs out of your home.
Although the dust mites can cause multiple health related condition, using every day remedies can decrease the problems dramatically.
