"Wolverine" fan jumped foe joy when it was announced that X-men Origins: Wolverine would be filmed in the lead actor's home country of Australia.
It was previously stated that the film would be shot in Japan.
According to a MTV interview with the 20th.
Century Fox Chief executive Tim Rothman it will be shot in both countries.
Rothman says that the film's interior shot will be filmed in Australia while the exterior's will be shot in Japan.
James Mangold, the film's director says that it will be a lot easier on the lead actor to be near his friends and family during the filming.
Rothman also said that he is not sure if the film would be shot in 3D or not.
The "Excellent" storyline will fallow Frank Miller and Chris Claremont's infamous and action packed plot thread that pits the adamantium-clawed mutant against the deadly samurai in the land of the rising sun.
Rothman says, as most chief executives would, says that the script "is excellent".
Also it can be heard in the interview that Rothman is very impressed with the level of commitment that Jackman has showed in the portrayal of the character as repeats time and time again.
" I can tell you on behalf of him, his goal is to make the ultimate, bad ass, berserker rage Wolverine" Rothman says of the star.
It is going to be amazing! No fan or critic in their right mind has ever doubted Jackman's commitment and dedication to his portrayal of the lean and mean character.
It's the scripting and direction that have let the Wolverine properties down in the past (including Brett Ratner's disappointing X3, so we are crossing our razor sharp, metal covered claws that they will make the movie a interesting and action packed watch.
This film will be the sequel to the 2009 X-men Origins: Wolverine film that was released worldwide on May 1st.
, 2009.
The director of the film was Gavin Hood and stars Hugh Jackman as "Wolverine".
The film acts as a prequel/spin off to the X-me trilogy, focusing on the violent past of the mutant wolverine and the relationship with his half-brother Victor Creed.
It also details Wolverine's early encounters with the Major William Stryker, his time with Team X, and the bonding of Wolverine's skeleton with the indestructible metal adamanthium during the weapon X program.
Hopefully this film will be better then the previous X-men films.
As a die hard Marvel fan I don't think it would be right to destroy the story and adventure that was created by the great Stan Lee, founder of Marvel comics and creator or the X-Men.
I have good faith in Jackman and personally can't wait until the films release!
