Visit the World"s Largest Unbroken Caldera: Ngorongoro Crater

It's that time again.
Time to visit Africa, cradle of life.
It's the perfect place to watch the sun rise over a land that seems to have hardly changed over the thousands of years since the first person stepped foot on the grasslands.
If you want to steer clear of busy cities and want to only enjoy the wildness and open freedom of the outdoors, then the Ngorongoro Crater is exactly where you want to be.
Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact caldera, which is a collapsed volcano.
In fact, because of the masses of life that surround the caldera, it has been called Africa's Eden.
Don't expect to see people moving in any time soon, either.
The only people who are allowed to live on these lands are an indigenous tribe, the Masai.
But that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to explore the wonders of the Crater.
Set up a reservation at a location nearby, such as the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.
Built near the crater's edge, the right room can yield a stunning view from morning until well into the night when the moon comes out and animals roam, ready and awake.
The Ngorongoro Crater is also one of the world's most renowned safari locations.
The crater offers some of the richest feeding grounds in all of Africa, which is why you'll find so many amazing animals thriving here.
If you intend to travel to Northern Tanzania, then Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see stop.
This is where you will see the "Big Five" - elephants, lions, black rhinoceros, cape buffalo, and leopards.
The animals linger at Ngorongoro Crater all year, so whether you intend to go during winter or summer, you're bound to see a dazzling array of wildlife.
When it comes to taking in the Crater, when traveling into the crater itself, it is limited to vehicles only, but on your way you'll pass through dense rainforest before riding through the grassy plains below.
However, within the main park there are places to picnic as well as walking, trekking, and visiting the Masai all within the Ngorongoro Conservation area.
Plan out your itinerary beforehand, or arrive and just kick back and soak up the sun.
Take a hike as it pleases you and enjoy the scenery.
Jump on a tour if it suits you.
No matter what decisions you make, you'll be glad that you took some time off to see the wonders of Ngorongoro Crater.
