Belly fat has a way of creeping up on you! Before you know it, your jeans don't fit around your middle anymore and the thought of getting into a swimsuit makes you cringe! Getting rid of the fat will take some effort on your part, but with a little help you can do it! Eat less! The reason you have a fat belly is because you overeat! Try cutting down on the huge portions of food in the first place.
If you eat less that means fewer calories are being added and therefore less fat! Eat more vegetables and fruit.
These will stop you from eating rich and fatty food.
Don't get into the habit of reaching for the chips while watching TV, instead munch on carrot slices! Exercise more! Another reason you have developed a pot belly could be that you have grown used to sitting around and having no physical activity.
Sit ups and stomach crunches will not help but you will have to work out the whole body with exercises like walking, cycling and swimming.
If you have recognized the signs of 'belly fat' early on, regular workouts should help to get rid of it soon.
Have the right diet.
Eating less and starving the body of all necessary nutrients is the wrong thing to do.
The body needs protein, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins and even minerals to increase metabolism and burn fat easily.
Stay off the 'health foods' that are actually junk foods in disguise! These will only make you gain more belly fat.
Jot down all you eat! This may sound stupid but you can't imagine how effective this is to stop you from gaining more fat and adding calories! Once you read all you have been eating on a daily basis, you will automatically start cutting down and evading junk food and fried stuff.
One day it will give you immense pleasure to know that you are eating healthier food that does not add to the belly fat!
