How to Put Movies on an iPod Using Quicktime

    • 1). Launch QuickTime player on your desktop and launch your iTunes player as well.

    • 2). Click on the file you would like to add to your iPod in your Quicktime player.

    • 3). Select "File">"Open File" from the QuickTime upper menu bar, and a folder will be opened on your computer with your movie file.

    • 4). Click the "Movies" tab on your iTunes player and drag and drop the movie in the folder from Step 3 onto the "Movies" page of your iTunes.

    • 5). Connect your iPod to your computer using the Apple USB cable and select the "Devices" tab on your iTunes.

    • 6). Click "Movies" on the iPod page and be sure your newly added QuickTime movie is selected with a checkmark in front of it.

    • 7). Click "Sync" at the bottom of the page and wait as your file loads to your iPod. You can disconnect the USB cable once the iTunes display reads "OK to disconnect."
