Being overweight can be a real downer for people that have this condition.
It can have an adverse effect on people both physically and mentally.
I know.
I have been there.
The only way that you will lose weight is to truly want it bad enough.
It doesn't matter how you want to do it.
If you really do not want to do it, you will fail every time.
I am now going to tell you how I lost 60 pounds in 4 months.
This was not easy.
I decided to start this in the late winter.
This is a time where being outdoors really is not an option.
Therefore sitting around and eating all the time would have been so easy.
In fact, that is what got me to be over weight in the first place.
The first thing I did, which is what anyone wanting to lose weight has to do, is make up my mind that I was going to do this.
No ifs, ands or buts.
The mental part of this is probably 75% of the whole battle.
I just made up my mind that I would not cheat on what I was going to do.
What did I eat? I ate chicken.
I ate lots and lots of chicken.
Fish was also an option, but I can not stand the taste of fish.
So I was stuck with chicken.
How often did I eat? I ate 8 times between the time I got up until the time I went to bed.
I ate small portions 8 times a day.
It was tough at times.
I would take sandwich bags with my allotted portion to work with me.
I had to find the 5 to 8 minutes to eat it at the timed intervals.
IF you really want something bad enough, you will find the time to do it.
I flavored the chicken by cooking some on the grill and some in the oven.
Nothing fried.
I also ate vegetables to.
Green ones.
I would eat green beans, peas, snow peas etc.
I would put a little bit of balsamic vinegar in them to add a little flavor.
When I got tire of the vinegar, I ate them plain.
Most people do not realize the flavor plain fresh vegetables have.
I also made it a point to drink lots and lots of water.
I cut out drinking all soda and alcohol.
To flavor the water, I just squeezed in a little lemon juice.
I did this for 4 months.
The weight came off.
I started out at a weight of 275 lbs.
I am 6'1".
That is a lot of extra weight to carry around.
If my back could talk.
It would tell you how sore it was from lugging around all that belly fat.
This weight loss got me down to 215 pounds in 4 months.
This is all without doing any exercise.
Why did this work? By eating in set intervals many times during the day you are reprogramming your body.
As you move along with this plan, your body goes from storing fat to storing nothing at all.
It then starts to use the fat it does have stored since it thinks this fat is not needed anymore.
You are feeding your body so frequently that it figures it does not need to store any fat for a rainy day.
In fact, You are feeding it so often, the body sees no reason to keep the fat you have and starts to burn it off.
When spring and summer hit, I was a new person.
My neighbor thought I had some kind of disease.
I had to explain to her how I did what I did.
This can work for anybody that will make up their mind from the very beginning to just do it.
I know it works.
I have done it.
