The Climate Change Boogey Man - The Secret to Beating Him - Find Out How Right Here, Right Now!

More doom and gloom about climate change, it's everywhere.
Alas, the climate change ship is going down rapidly with it's ever increasing passenger load and de rigeur status.
Yawn.
Now before you call me batty, I have no objection to either the concept or the reality of climate change.
No arguments there.
It's happening.
For the record though, there is an alternative.
It's only recently in the history of humankind that we created a separation in our minds between man and Nature - say 400-500 years (am not good on exact dates but check with Renaissance philosophers for more precise info).
Suddenly humans were a distinct entity from Nature - a purely intellectual construct but one that stuck fiercely.
Some cultures never made this distinction - ask the aboriginals.
So what you say? Stay with me on this one: the Alchemists, an intriguing and secretive bunch who were eventually dismissed as charlatans (sometime in the late 17th century), never separated man from Nature either, hence their ability (through a lengthy and sometimes agonising process) to transmute lead and other metals into gold.
Their conclusion was that man and matter were the same, a concept borne out by developments in quantum physics in the last few decades.
Despite our appearance of separateness, I am my environment, my environment is me.
Same goes for all you lot out there.
This is not some rant to encourage everyone into pagan Nature worship.
Far from it.
If I and my environment are the same, if man and matter are not distinct, then we are shaping our environment as it shapes us.
Imagine that for a second - you are not separate from anything you see around you.
What does this mean? This means that we have the ability to radically change our environment - hence climate change and all the other BAD stuff, generated by a world populated by fear driven, unconscious beliefs.
It also means that we have the ability to shape our world in the image of what we would love.
This is not airy fairy, hippy twaddle - it's supported by countless ancient teachings, once the dogma is removed (see Hermetic Philosophy, Gnostic teachings etc etc).
It's also right there in the obvious.
Our power as creators, especially when united, will beat the baddies any day! But we have to WANT to create a world we would all love to live in.
I know the delicious addiction to "how bad it is", everyone's on about it all the time, "ooh dear, climate change, how terrible, teenage violence, how awful, isn't it all really really awful, if we could just think of a way to fix it, but who are we, just poor little powerless mice, scuttling about in the face of big bad corporations and terrible conspiracies, blah blah".
Need I go on.
That's where we're all focused.
Time to change that.
We don't have to be nice, good citizens who are kind to the earth.
We just need to remove the artificially imposed mental distinction between us and our environment and create, en masse, the world that we would love to live in.
Let's stop crapping on about how bad it all is and start asking what we'd love to create and put our communal energy into that.
Never mind the depressing tosh in the media.
Ask yourself - what would I love, what would I really love for my world, for my environment and start creating it.
I guarantee you'll be amazed.
