Los Angeles has many fun and educational places designed specifically with kids in mind. - The California Science Center is a non-profit museum maintained by the state of California. Inside are state-of-the-art exhibits and interactive educational projects for kids. Past exhibits have included "The Science of Fear," "Body World," and "Mummies of the World." The center also has an IMAX theater, youth science programs during spring and summer breaks, and school programs for field trips. Admission to the California Science Center is free.

You can schedule private parties and other children's celebrations, or kids can come in during business hours for an open play session. Under the Sea has a variety of play sets and equipment including a moon bounce, climbing walls and a sea castle. There is also a baby corner and a toddler swing for younger children.
