It's true that article marketing can help generate tons of targeted traffic.
But not many article marketers follow an effective traffic generation plan.
Here is a plan that will help you grow your traffic by at least 10 times.
Step 1: Assess your current traffic levels.
To know for sure whether the traffic is generated by article marketing, don't attempt to drive traffic using other traffic generation methods.
That will mess up your tracking.
Alternatively, you can boost traffic to a certain part of your website (e.
g.
landing page only).
Jot down the number of unique visitors you are getting per month.
Then multiply the number by 10.
That is your traffic goal.
Step 2: Set your article writing goals.
Based on your traffic goals, set your article writing goals - i.
e.
how many articles do you have to write to generate 10 times more traffic? I'll give you some numbers to work with.
On average, assume that every article will bring you 15 visitors per month.
If you focus on interesting topics and good keywords, that average will improve.
But when starting out, 15 visitors a month per article is a realistic target to shoot for.
So what are your traffic goals? If you have 100 visitors per month on your site, increasing traffic by 10 times will mean you need to achieve 1000 visitors per month.
If you are at the 1000 monthly visitors level, that means you are aiming for 10k visitors per month.
10k visitors sound like a lot to aim for, but when you put everything down on paper, the numbers appear achievable.
To achieve this goal, you have to write at least 666.
67 (10k / 15) articles.
Many article marketers have surpassed this number and moved into the "thousands" zone.
Now, your traffic goal is not just a dream.
You can make it happen with article marketing.
