- 1). Cover your work area with a sheet of newspaper and place an empty, clean yogurt bottle onto the newspaper.
- 2). Tape the lid off of the bottle and set it aside.
- 3). Paint the outside of the plastic yogurt bottle using white, acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry for 30 minutes.
- 4). Paint two dots for snowman eyes and five dots for a snowman mouth onto the top part of the bottle using black, acrylic paint. Paint three dots down the front of the bottle to represent the snowman's buttons. Allow the paint to dry for 30 minutes.
- 5). Paint a horizontal triangle in between the eyes and the mouth using orange, acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry for 30 minutes. This represents the snowman's carrot nose.
- 6). Paint the lid for the bottle using black, acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry for 30 minutes.
- 7). Cut out a 3-inch circle from black construction paper using scissors.
- 8). Squeeze a line of tacky glue around the edge of the painted lid, then press the lid onto the black paper circle. Position the lid in the center of the circle, then allow the glue to dry for 30 minutes. This will be the black top hat of the snowman.
- 9). Squeeze a line of tacky glue around the rim of the bottle, then press the top hat onto the rim of the bottle. Allow the glue to dry for 30 minutes.

Cut a piece of ribbon using scissors to measure 8 inches long, then wrap the ribbon around the top of the bottle underneath the head section. This represents the scarf on the snowman.
