We go to such great lengths to avoid making a mistake.
So much so we start to act in an unintelligent about it.
It's probably because we are highly conditioned to thinking that making a mistake is bad and that enough of them will make you a failure.
Yes, certainly mistakes and failure go hand in hand, but so does success.
Knowledge is the key to success and it is often gained through mistakes.
To avoid making mistakes it to avoid learning.
To not learn is to not grow, which will also to will result in failure.
Try and find opportunities where the risks of failure are not too detrimental, and the upside is considerable if things work out.
When you find a situation like this, that is when it's time to strike with full force because you can risk making a mistake.
Even if it more than likely you could be completely wrong.
For example, contemplate the decision many bloggers and webmasters face as to whether or not they should put ads on their blogs and websites.
Some bloggers sit around and type up many posts debating and discussing this point, trying to figure out whether or not it's a good idea for them.
Time spent writing such posts are a complete waste of time.
With a program like AdSense, stop thinking about doing it, and thinking about what the pros and cons are and just do it.
It's so easy to put up AdSense.
Let it run for a week, then you can see what kind of feedback and income you are generating.
Now you have facts and not theory.
With all the facts right in front of you, then you make an informed decision as to whether or not it was a good idea.
Guesswork, thinking it through and through, and debate are a waste when it's so easy to just test something and get the results.
If the ads do not work out as planned, you can remove them within minutes.
Just try it for a week and see what happens.
Then you'll know.
So stop thinking about it, and just do it.
Don't be afraid to make a mistake when the upside has a lot of potential.
