New York Jets offensive coordinator Chan Gailey
Tuesday evening, the New York Jets officially announced the hiring of Chan Gailey as the team's offensive coordinator. Gailey, 63, will be the fourth offensive coordinator hired by the Jets in the last five years. New York will be Gailey's first coaching position since he was fired from the Bills two years ago.
Throughout his coaching career, Gailey has had stops with six different NFL franchises with all roles dealing with the offensive side of the ball.
So, what kind of production can the Jets expect from Gailey's offense?
About.com dove into Gailey's past and the history books. On the ensuing slides, you'll find the offensive leaders pertaining to the positions Gailey coached. In positions in which Gailey was the team's offensive coordinator or head coach, the leading passer, rusher and receiver is listed.
Please note, this list does not include the collegiate and NFL Europe coaching stops in Gailey's career.
