There are actually two types of carbohydrates.
The good and the bad.

Good carbohydrates: Found in natural foods like raw fruit, legumes etc.
They are unprocessed and they take a long time to digest and as such force your body to increase it's metabolism as it digests these carbohydrates.
They also contain a large amount of fiber, which keeps you full and suppresses your diet.

Bad carbohydrates: Processed foods contain a lot of bad carbs.
There is some nutrition value, but not a lot for the body to use in any effective way.
They are empty calories-full of sugar and not a lot of fiber,which is easily converted to fat by your body.
Examples of such foods are chips, white bread, pasta, soft drinks, cakes, biscuits, etc.
Avoid these foods at all costs! Not all carbs are bad.
When it comes to weight loss it is important to make the right decisions about carbs and losing weight.
