Do you think you need discipline to burn off that fat fast? I'll bet you're hoping I'll say: "No way, it's totally easy.
Just go on this magic diet and the pounds will all melt off".
Well the fact is that I can show you something a lot like that, and I will, but no matter what, it's still going to require some determination on your part.
No matter how easy a weight loss program can be made there will still be that unpredictable element in the equation...
and that element is you.
You are the one who has to take that first step if you really do want to burn that fat.
I know it's a struggle, because I know that it's almost a certainty that if you're overweight and can't get it off, then you're addicted to high GI carbohydrates.
And you know that when that urge to eat comes up it's almost impossible to say no...
it just takes control and won't let go.
You sit there just hanging on, trying to be strong, but you know you're going to crumble and give in, because you've already decided this.
This is the incredible struggle with any addiction...
you become powerless to resist.
Maybe you're thinking that I've got a nerve telling you you've got an addiction...
and that's OK.
Maybe you don't.
But most of us do.
So let's be honest with ourselves.
That's the first step.
An addiction is something that has the following characteristics: * It's obsessive compulsive and you can't control it * It's mood altering * It has life damaging consequences If you look at your eating compulsion honestly and can see those characteristics then you're addicted to food.
There's nothing wrong with that.
Lot's of people get addicted to lots of things from coffee and cigarettes on up the scale.
So if you're willing to even look at the possibility that you might have a carb addiction...
what can you do to overcome it.
Fortunately this part is actually quite easy.
You just need to abstain from high GI foods totally for a period of 5 days and then add back in the slowly digested complex carbs that are good for you.
But you need to do this in such a way that you don't get hungry and fall off the wagon.
