Good Morning America (GMA) host Robin Roberts was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2007, announcing it on live television to her longtime GMA audience. She underwent surgery and chemotherapy for treatment. Since being diagnosed with breast cancer, Roberts has been a vigilant breast cancer advocate and authored a book titled From the Heart: 8 Rules to Live By.
