How to Remove the Second Row of Captain's Chairs in a Yukon XL

    • 1). Open the side door for easy access to the bottom of the seat. This will make removal easier when the bolts are removed.

    • 2). Locate the four bolts around the base of the seat. They will be located at each corner.

    • 3). Unscrew the four bolts with a socket wrench. Place the bolts in a safe place for later use.

    • 4). Tilt the seat forward to disconnect the wiring. Squeeze the tabs together on the electrical connector and separate.

    • 5). Pull the seat out of the truck. Some assistance may be required.

    • 6). Repeat to remove the other seat on the second row.
