Along with the stuffiness, the aggravation and suffering caused by ringing in ears allergies, there is that constant humming in your head which may even prevent you from getting a good sleep at night.
That ringing or humming you hear (without anything making noise around you), is called tinnitus.
It is a very common symptom of an underlying condition.
Very often, the increase in fluids pressure in and around the ears will create that ringing or pulsating noise you hear (pulsating along with the beats of your heart).
I used to suffer from allergies myself.
I would be so stuffed that I could hear my whole head pulsating.
Of course, in order to stop that ringing, you will have to treat the underlying cause which is the allergies.
Of course, there is the normal medical route which I took; allergy tests (I was allergic to trees but living and working downtown, not a tree in sight), a year of injections, followed by a year of continuing allergies! But, like many other causes of tinnitus, (stress, fatigue, some medications, high blood pressure), you should take a holistic approach to the problem.
In my case I had to quit smoking, eat properly, take proper rest, exercise and keep a clean house.
I later moved in the country, in the forest (lots of trees) and I do not have any allergy problem any more and no more humming in the ears, except when I cause them myself by abusing of my body.
Go figure! If you suffer from ringing in ears allergies, it is pretty serious stuff, grab the bull by the horns, find and attack the cause, preferably using a natural, holistic approach.
If you cannot sleep because of the ringing in the ears, it increases your stress, which increases your blood pressure, you get tired and increase your allergies, it is like a vicious circle.
