Why Dog Crates

Lock your spouse and your dog out of the house for the night and see which one is glad to see you in the morning.
God gave us dogs to show us how to love unconditionally.
Our dogs deserve the best.
Puppies should be accustomed early to being in a dog crate, dog carrier, and/or dog pen.
The purpose is to train the animal so he is comfortable being confined for reasons of
and protection when traveling, visiting, home alone, or housebreaking.
Dogs tend, by instinct, to want to sleep in a cave, den or shelter.
A crate can satisfy that basic tendency.
Since dogs instinctively tend to keep their dens clean, they will not, normally, mess or wet in their cage or crate.
This aids greatly in housebreaking your pet.
By keeping the puppy in a cage, he will only go when you take him out for that purpose.
When we take out pet to the veterinarian, we take him in his crate.
Because he is crate trained, he is less stressed when he has to stay overnight.
Often we just bring him home, rather than leave him at the vets overnight.
Since he is comfortable in the crate he is content to recuperate in his safe place at home.
Dog crates, pens, cages, or carriers come in several sizes.
Pick one that will allow for your puppies growth, but not so large that he will not feel cozy and protected, while confined.
Crate training provides the dog (or cat) with a sense of security.
When they need to be in a crate, they do not view it as punishment.
The dog cage is their home.
