- 1). Remove the staples from a comic book and remove a single page. Glue the page to a piece of lightweight card stock that is 8-by 11-1/2-inches. Smooth out the surface and let dry.
- 2). Fold the paper in half and crease the edge. Fold the paper in half again and crease. Fold the paper in half a third time and crease.
- 3). Unfold the piece of paper. Place the paper in front of you vertically, as you would if you were reading a page. Make a half-inch mark on each folded crease on the left and right sides of the paper. Make even cuts on all six lines.
- 4). Draw a line at the bottom of the page starting one quarter inch to the left of the middle crease. Extend the line out after the first fold to create a half-diamond shape. Draw the line up to meet the middle horizontal crease. Extend the line down one quarter inch to the right and bring it to the bottom of the page. Leave a corresponding half-diamond shape above the first fold. Cut along the lines.
- 5). Fold in the left and right tabs on all sections. Apply a separate piece of tape to all six tabs. Apply a piece of tape to join the two halves of the bottom section together. Do not apply tape to the diamond-shaped cut out.
- 6). Face the paper towards you vertically as if your were reading a page. Fold it in half, top to bottom. Fold it in half again, top to bottom, so that you have about a 7-1/2-inch-by 3-inch wallet. Apply tape to the left and right edges. Put a dollar in the wallet. Fold the wallet and put it in your back pocket.
