- 1). Gather enough vintage teacups to accommodate each guest. Choose cups featuring different patterns and details. For example, opt for small floral or bird designs and elegant gold rims for a shabby-chic look.
- 2). Fill each cup three-fourths full of water.
- 3). Create small bouquets of fresh flowers. Use a handful of romantic-looking, delicate flowers such as sweetheart roses, lily of the valley or lilacs. Alternatively, use just one large rose bloom. Cut the flower stems short and arrange the tiny bouquets in the teacups.
- 4). Cut white card stock into 4-inch by 4-inch pieces. Write the bridal shower details on the squares, using a pastel-hued pen or colored pencil. Include the honoree's name as well as the date.
- 5). Punch holes in the upper-left corner of each card. Slip a pink satin ribbon through the hole and tie it to the teacup handle. Do this for each teacup.
- 6). Place one teacup vase next to each guest's place setting and allow partygoers to take them home as favors.
- 7). Create a table centerpiece by filling a vintage teapot with a bouquet of flowers. Fill antique sugar bowls with snacks such as pastel-hued jelly beans and fancy almonds.
