Removing Nonslip Stick-Ons From Bathtubs

    • 1). Lift the edges of the stick-on with a plastic scraping tool. Scrape around all the edges of the stick-on with the tool. Be sure you are lifting all three layers. Do not use metal to scrape, because it will scratch and damage the bathtub.

    • 2). Remove the stick-on by firmly and carefully pulling it toward the middle. Repeat these steps for each stick-on.

    • 3). Apply an oil-based adhesive remover to the residue left by the stick-ons. You can find adhesive removers at any home and garden supply store. Let the remover soak for five to 10 minutes.

    • 4). Wipe away the remover and residue with a dry cloth. If any residue remains, repeat Steps 3 and 4.

    • 5). Clean your bathtub as usual.
