Jo Mani can jump start a lightning bolt. The triple-threat actor- comedian-vocalist has "can't-miss" stamped all over her in block letters.

This film, television and stage ace owns an enviable track record.  Joshua Tree, Absolute Debauchery, SyFy's The Resistance, CBS' Touched By An Angel and, on stage, Daughters Of The Lone Star State.  Featured screen appearances include films with, Della Reese, Louis Gossett, Jr., Corbin Bernsen and Jenifer Lewis.  She worked with Vivica A. Fox, Paula Jai Parker and Sheryl Lee  Ralph in the television hit, Pastor Jones.  In comedy (Laugh Factory, Dee Undaground Tour, Family Room), her stand-up blows away crowd after crowd.  A siren songbird, she's recording her CD debut with producer Marcus "Bellringer" Bell for independent release.  The album calls on R&B chops culled from singing jazz, gospel and blues in nightclubs.

Currently, Jo Mani is filming Project Purgatory Beijingfor 2012 release.  And stunning viewers of popular web series The Refuge, showcased as drop-dead gorgeous, mean as a snake villain "Natasha".  Summer 2011, she's featured in Double Cross (DVD) directed by Gary Sturgis.  This fall she's in Joshua Tree with Michael Madsen and Steven Bauer.

It doesn't step out on a limb to say this gifted artist has a strong career ahead of her.  Fact is, it's obvious.  Jo Mani eventually is going to hit in a breakout role, striking like a bolt out of the blue.  An overnight sensation years in the making.  That's how it was with, for instance, Halle Berry, Kimberly Elise, Khandi Alexander.  Frankly, she gives each a run for the money. Don't take my word for it.  Go, see for yourself.  This is one of the strongest performers to come along in a long time.

One thing on which you can bet the ranch, sure as the sun comes up, this lady's star is on the rise.

There's no hotter iron in the fire than powerhouse performer Jo Mani.  Think chops on the order of Lena Horne, Lola Falana and Pearl Bailey rolled into one with a touch of Mae West.  Then, take it up a notch.  That's Jo Mani.
