- 1). Save the eBook onto your computer. After you have purchased the eBook online, you will be able to save it to your computer. The eBook has to be saved on your computer for the transfer process to begin. You can create a new folder for the eBooks you would like to transfer to a CD.
- 2). Insert a blank CD into your CD-RW drive. The drive within your computer must have the ability to put information on blank CDs. You can purchase blank CDs at your local office supply store.
- 3). Open your CD-burning software. In order to burn a CD, software is needed to transfer the information successfully. If you have a writable drive already attached to your computer, you may have CD-burning software already installed. Click "Start" then "All Programs." Select the CD-burning software from the list of programs. When the program has opened, select "Data" from the list of options on the toolbar. The "Data" option must be selected or the CD will not burn properly.
- 4). Click "Add Files" to open the eBook of your choice and add it to the list. A new window will open, allowing you to select the eBook. Click "Open" to add it to the list. If you want to transfer multiple eBooks you will have to perform this task multiple times.
- 5). Click "Burn" to burn the eBook onto the blank CD. On most burning software, the "Burn" button is on the lower right corner. The burning time varies, depending on the size of the eBook.
