Getting a low quality of sleep is the root cause of dozens upon dozens of illnesses that affect the human mind and body.
A lot of people simply think that insomnia is just something you have to live with, but it's not.
There are so many things that can keep you from having insomnia, as well as once you finally do get a good night's rest, you close your eyes and can rest peacefully knowing that you're going to wake up well rested and ready to go after the next day as if it were your last.
Those who stay up all night tossing and turning, or lay in bed at night wishing they could sleep often don't even consider the possibility that it's because of their sheets or pillowcases, that's because they often just think, "Man, what's wrong with me?" The truth is, nothing is wrong with you, it's just several factors that are preventing you from sleeping - such as not having a room that's dark enough, as well as sleeping in an environment that's not quiet enough, or sleeping on uncomfortable sheets.
One of these alone shouldn't be enough to hinder you from getting enough sleep, however, combined, they can wreak havoc on your sleep schedule - instead of getting a quality 8 hours of sleep, you might lay down for 2 hours, then get a very poor six hours of sleep that won't leave you feeling very rested at all.
That's why I highly recommend getting yourself some satin sheets.
