- Diffuse large B cells with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma often respond well to chemotherapy treatment and about half of patients with this type of B cell lymphoma are cured by this treatment, according to the American Cancer Society.
- Follicular lymphoma is hard to cure but tends to grow slowly. Patients without symptoms may not be treated unless this form of B cell lymphoma changes to a diffuse B cell lymphoma.
- Forms of B cell lymphoma called chronic lymphocytic leukemia and small lymphocytic leukemia are usually not curable but these forms of the disease tend to be slow growing.

- Burkitt lymphoma is a fast growing form of B cell lymphoma and about half of patients can be cured with intensive chemotherapy treatment.
