Why Aren"t You Using a Deep Hydrating Wrinkle Mask Every Other Week?

Have you ever used a hydrating wrinkle mask? Most people apply a face cream in the morning and maybe a night cream before bed, but that's it.
However, these days, many skincare lines offer a number of facial masks.
They aren't for daily use though; you only use them about twice a month to fully rejuvenate your skin.
Here's a wrinkle reduction tip: use these masks.
This article is a primer on what to look for in a mask.
First, are hydrating masks the same as exfoliation or peels? No, those home "peeling" systems you see advertised contain abrasive chemicals designed to burn off the outermost layer of skin cells.
These chemicals include: aluminum, alcohols, and propylene glycol.
Companies claim that burning off damaged skin cells will reveal fresh ones underneath, but that's never been scientifically proven.
In my opinion, it seems too harsh for delicate facial skin.
Exfoliation is generally the same thing as a peel.
What these two things do is cause redness and inflammation, nothing more.
As you age, skin cells multiply at a slower rate and they become more vulnerable to damage.
The last thing you want to do is expose them to chemicals.
Unfortunately, even if you avoid peels and exfoliants, you still have to worry about being exposed to chemicals.
Any hydrating wrinkle mask you pick up off the shelf in a store is likely to contain synthetic allergens and irritants.
Here are the most common ones:
  • Parabens
  • Artificial preservatives
  • Fragrances
  • Petrolatum
  • Paraffin
  • Mineral oil
These ingredients often cause redness, itching, rashes, and bumps.
Okay, now that you know what to avoid, let's discuss what makes a hydrating mask excellent.
First off, it should contain natural oils like avocado oil and macadamia oil; they replenish natural skin oils that are lost each day.
Another important job for a hydrating wrinkle mask is stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
These are the two skin proteins chiefly responsible for skin firmness and pliabilty.
As we age, our body produces less and less of them and skin ages because of it.
This is one of the three root causes of skin aging.
Your mask should contain a few natural ingredients that increase collagen and elastin production.
Avocado oil is a good one.
But there is another natural substance with this power.
After years in development and testing, it is finally available to consumers.
