Who Wears the Phantom"s Mask?

Las Vegas has an assortment of colorful shows to choose from.
There are the classic singers like Wayne Newton, the creative story telling of Cirque du Soleil, or the blue, musical, three stooges of Blue Man Group, but a theatre type show is hard to come by.
Sure you can argue that the Lion King fills this type, but portraying animals can never replace the acting of another person in another time.
The Phantom at the Venetian Hotel and Resort fits the theatre role quite nicely.
The Phantom of the Opera was originally written by Gaston Leroux in 1909.
The author claims that the phantom was a really person, but this has never been truly confirmed.
The novel was never a great success, but its predecessors, four films and a musical, have been.
The musical was created in 1985 by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Harold Prince.
The two were asked to recreate this musical into a 95 minute spectacular at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
The show has a combination of a great story that has survived the ages and modern technology, to immerse the audience in that story.
The Phantom brings to life a peculiar story of a girl who performs at the opera house.
She is torn between the love of three men: her dead father, a male performer, and the phantom, who has been this girl's hidden teacher for years.
The phantom is also a manipulator of everyone in the opera house and acts out with hatred if his way is not done.
Unfortunately, telling the whole story would ruin the show, so I would advise you to see it.
The Phantom at the Venetian is far from the typical Las Vegas show, sure most shows have someone wearing a mask, but what they do not have is a brilliant story that is told about the mysterious person behind the mask.
